Quitline Manager Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quitline Manager to oversee our team of counsellors and provide expert support to individuals looking to quit smoking or vaping.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement clinical assessment and treatment plans for clients
  • Deliver evidence-based counselling and referrals to relevant services
  • Collaborate with the team to design and execute quality improvement initiatives
  • Monitor and evaluate service performance to ensure excellent support is provided to the community

This role requires exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including clinical documentation and client interaction. Experience in mentoring and training colleagues is essential.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of a 3-year bachelor's degree qualification in counselling, social work or psychology, and at least 3 years of post-clinical experience in counselling
  • Demonstrated experience in mentoring and training colleagues in a clinical setting
  • High-level verbal and written communication skills, including clinical documentation and client interaction
  • Ability to remain calm and perform duties with confidence and patience in high-pressure situations

Applicants must be non-smokers, with a former smoker or vaper having been quit for at least six months. Experience in providing clinical services and advice in a call centre environment is preferred but not essential.
