We are seeking a Catering Assistant to join our team at a modern care home in Tamworth. As a key member of our catering team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our residents receive high-quality meals and snacks, prepared with empathy and care.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of food hygiene and safety practices. Previous experience in aged care is highly regarded, but not essential. Responsibilities

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A Certificate III in Hospitality (or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes
  • Flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week
