Job Title: Mechanical Tradesperson

We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to work on various paper and cardboard manufacturing machines.

  • This role requires the ability to conduct lathe and milling operations, as well as work with hydraulics and pneumatics systems.
  • The successful candidate will also perform various welding tasks using MIG and TIG techniques.
  • A key aspect of this position is operating machines efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Machine Operation: Safely operate and maintain paper and cardboard manufacturing equipment.
  2. Maintenance and Repair: Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on machinery to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  3. Welding and Fabrication: Perform welding tasks using MIG and TIG techniques to fabricate and repair machinery components.
  4. Safety and Efficiency: Implement safe working practices and optimize machine efficiency to minimize waste and maximize productivity.

About You:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced tradesperson who can work effectively in a team environment.

  • Technical Skills: Proven experience working with similar machines, including lathe and milling operations, hydraulics, and pneumatics systems.
  • Welding Capability: Strong MIG and TIG welding skills, with the ability to fabricate and repair machinery components.
  • Automation Knowledge: Familiarity with automation systems and control software.
  • Certification: Certified tradesperson with relevant qualifications and certifications.
  • Teamwork: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
