Job Opportunity: Mechanical Fitter

We are seeking a skilled mechanical fitter to join our site on an afternoon shift.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to provide technical support to the Maintenance and Production teams, performing preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime.

  • Maintain equipment condition and reliability to achieve company safety, production, and quality targets
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and codes
  • Assist with breakdowns and conduct troubleshooting analysis as required

Requirements

  • Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical (Fitting/Machining) or equivalent qualifications
  • Experience working with Converting-type production lines in a FMCG environment
  • Machining and basic welding experience
