Job Title: Principal Systems EngineerAbout the Role:

This is a complex and demanding position that requires extensive knowledge and expertise in Systems Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake design proving and integration trials on cutting-edge submarine combat systems.
  • Assume overall responsibility for specific trials, including planning, organisation, leadership, analysis, and reporting.
  • Lead, mentor, and support other members of the Integration team in your area of specialism.
  • Compile installation documents and perform platform-based trials on submarines.
  • Undertake peer reviews or checking/verification tasks as directed.
Requirements:
  • Significant knowledge and expertise in Systems Engineering with experience of operating in the defence, maritime, or closely linked industry.
  • A deep understanding of the engineering lifecycle with awareness of the entire lifecycle.
  • A strong working understanding of Product Safety and SHE.
