Senior Contract Manager

Seeking a highly skilled Senior Contract Manager to lead our contract management team in Canberra.

This permanent position involves working closely with vendors who supply crucial ICT infrastructure and services to the department. The role will be responsible for strategic planning, governance, and performance measurement/management within the Vendor Management Office (VMO) framework.

  • Develop skills to manage ICT services contracts to deliver value for money services to the department.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify and resolve issues related to vendor management.
  • Provide expert advice on contract management best practices.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent writing and organisation skills, and the ability to confidently present messages in a clear and concise manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for vendor management.
  • Contract Management: Manage ICT services contracts to ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders.
