About This Role

Are you a motivated and experienced professional looking to make a positive impact in the field of Human Resources? We are seeking an accomplished People Business Partner to join our fast-paced and collaborative HR team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a proven track record of delivering transformational culture change programs and implementing purpose-led organisational development initiatives.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide coaching and guidance to council leaders to enhance engagement and performance with their people
  • Develop and implement systems and support that enable the council to attract, retain and develop top talent
  • Design and deliver innovative work practices that promote the sustainability and vitality of our organisation
  • Attend departmental meetings and provide partnering support to the team
  • Undertake routine employee relations case management
  • Support learning and development initiatives to drive business success
  • Review and update applicable HR policies and procedures

Your Requirements

  • Qualifications in Human Resources are essential for this role
  • Experience using organisational culture diagnostic tools would be highly beneficial
  • Local Government experience is advantageous
  • Proven experience in delivering contemporary Human Resources practices
  • The ability to design and implement purpose-led organisational development and engagement initiatives that lift workplace culture
