Leadership Opportunity in Early Learning

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee the operational activities of our early learning centre, ensuring they are carried out effectively and efficiently.

This role is primarily responsible for complex staff rostering, meeting compliance obligations and identifying opportunities for improvement across the program consistent with the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).

As a leader, you will be expected to build strong relationships with children, families and educators, fostering an inviting, engaging, high-quality and responsive service.

The position is part-time, up to 0.9 FTE (salary reflects 0.9 FTE).

About You (Selection Criteria)

  • Previous experience in leadership/management in an ECEC setting with the ability to motivate, influence, mentor and coach individuals and teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and managing staff rosters to meet regulatory ratio requirements while ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with children, families, educators, community and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Previous experience in managing compliance and operations in an ECEC setting.
  • Previous experience in service development (e.g., QIP) in an ECEC setting.
  • In-depth working knowledge of the NQF (comprising the Education and Care Services National Law and National Regulations) and the NQS.
