We are seeking a Release Management Coordinator to join our dynamic team, playing a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient management of the release lifecycle. This role involves designing and implementing processes, systems, and tools to streamline the packaging, building, testing, and deployment of updates into our live IT environment.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Support release and deployment activities using various tools and techniques.
  2. Record tasks, log results, and document technical activities effectively.
  3. Manage tools and methods for software delivery, deployment, and configuration.
  4. Provide early support, including advice to internal users as needed.
  5. Recommend and implement release tools, techniques, and processes, including automation.
  6. Coordinate with internal teams on release schedules and updates.
  7. Ensure testing, validation, and configuration are part of every release process.
  8. Work with testers to build and test releases, ensuring collaboration with operations, infrastructure, and business teams.
  9. Maintain and update release processes and procedures.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in release management or IT operations.
  • An understanding of software deployment, configuration management, and automation processes.
  • Knowledge of testing and validation procedures in software releases.
  • The ability to manage multiple releases and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility to support dynamic release cycles and respond to changing business needs.

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
