Job Title: Learning and Development Director

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our educational vision in alignment with the College's mission, values, and explicit improvement agenda.

This role will play a key part in shaping a Christ-centred learning environment that nurtures both academic excellence and spiritual formation. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of Christian education, strong leadership capabilities, and a heart for student transformation.

This is a full time, permanent position commencing Term 4, 2025 or as negotiated with the successful applicant. This role requires current QCT registration and will incorporate a teaching component.

About the Role:

The Head of Learning and Alignment – Spiritual Quotient is responsible for leading and managing the educational vision in alignment with the College's mission, values, and explicit improvement agenda.

The successful candidate will be a passionate and spiritually grounded leader who can shape a Christ-centred learning environment that nurtures both academic excellence and spiritual formation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the educational vision in alignment with the College's mission, values, and explicit improvement agenda
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote academic excellence and spiritual formation
  • Mentor and support teachers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality learning experiences
  • Collaborate with other leaders to develop and implement policies and procedures that support the College's vision and values
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Current QCT registration
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Proven track record of improving student outcomes
