Job Description

The role of Assistant Director is a key position in our organisation, responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our early learning centre.

As Assistant Director, you will provide strategic leadership and operational management of the centre, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards.

  • Assist the Centre Director in providing strategic leadership and operational management of the centre

  • Mentor and support the education team, fostering a collaborative and nurturing environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will engage with families, building strong partnerships to support children's learning and growth.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior role within the early childhood education sector
  • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for creating enriching learning environments and supporting children's development
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Thorough understanding of the National Quality Framework and regulatory requirements
