Job Opportunity for Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to facilitate the identification of health, wellbeing and social needs in school-aged children and young people.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating appropriate early intervention, assessments, and referrals to services in designated primary and secondary schools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and identify health, wellbeing and social needs in school-aged children and young people
  • Develop and implement individualized plans with school staff
  • Provide education and support to families and carers
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical nursing skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Requirements:
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field (e.g. Master of Nursing, Master of Public Health)
  • Experience working with school-aged children and young people
  • Strong clinical nursing skills and expertise
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
