Premier Academic Leader

Description:

We seek a visionary educator to lead our Primary School, fostering academic excellence and spiritual growth in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the Primary School Leadership Team, ensuring strategic direction aligned with the College's mission.
  2. Oversee recruitment, performance management, and professional development of teaching staff, maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
  3. Monitor student progress, wellbeing, and behaviour, implementing pastoral care strategies for a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  4. Coordinate school events, including graduation ceremonies and parent-teacher nights.
  5. Participate in the enrolment process, interviewing prospective families to assess fit.
  6. Lead spiritual formation within the Primary School through devotions and chapel services.
  7. Maintain clear communication with staff, students, parents, and the wider community.
Essential Criteria:
  • A genuine Christian faith demonstrated through involvement in a local church community.
  • A strong passion for Christian education, integrating a biblical worldview into curriculum and pedagogy.
  • Registered teacher with at least five years of classroom experience.
  • Current RHHAN-EC certificate and WWCC clearance.
  • Valid Teachers Registration in South Australia (SA).
Desirable Attributes:
  • At least two years of leadership experience within an educational setting.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in education or leadership, or a commitment to ongoing study.
  • Previous experience teaching in a Christian environment.
