**Job Title:** Regional Operations Director - Esperance Region

 

We are seeking an experienced Regional Operations Director to join our team at CORMACK CONSULTING in the beautiful region of Esperance, Western Australia. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and managing our programs, initiatives, and commercial activities aimed at protecting and improving the health and well-being of natural assets, environments, and ecosystems across Wudjari country.

 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, with experience in developing and implementing strategies to achieve organisational objectives. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, governmental agencies, NGOs, funding bodies, and community members to develop and execute strategies, programs, and projects that contribute to the preservation and nurturing of the ecological heritage of Wudjari land and sea country.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies and business plans to achieve organisational objectives.
  • Identify business and funding opportunities and negotiate funding agreements.
  • Design, develop, and maintain partnerships.
  • Manage portfolios and programs.
  • Evaluate, measure, and monitor the impact of projects, programs, and interventions.
  • Lead and manage staff.
  • Develop and maintain an effective organisational culture.
  • Plan staff training and development.
  • Develop and manage business unit budgets and financial targets.
  • Implement effective risk management arrangements.
