Senior Civil Designer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Civil Designer to join our team. This role will involve designing solutions for urban, land and subdivision projects in the Gold Coast and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing conceptual and detailed designs using 12D software (land subdivisions, road infrastructure, drainage, sewer & water systems, as well as associated infrastructure)
  • Interpreting civil design requirements of State Government, Local Government Authorities, and private sector clients
  • Collaborating with associated disciplines such as transport, planning, survey, traffic, electrical, and landscaping
  • Communicating with clients regarding project needs
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated senior civil designer experience in land, urban, and subdivisions
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Graduate Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience using 12D software, preferably
  • Familiarity with local authority and state government approval and regulatory requirements
