About the Role

Interquip Construction Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join our team based at our West Perth Office. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who is motivated to work with our growing team and contribute to the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute process engineering studies and investigations to support development opportunities and operating assets.
  • Use computer-based process engineering tools, including process simulations.
  • Contribute to the knowledge base of current and potential technology options relevant to the process engineering activities of the company.
  • Supervise and guide the work of less experienced engineers.
  • Support the Project team to ensure that they deliver the project in accordance with cost, time, quality, safety targets, and objectives.
  • Deliver on role expectations within set timeframes and to the expected standard.

Requirements

  • Formal Engineering/Metallurgy qualification.
  • Previous experience in the design, construction, and mineral operations industry - ideally both for project development, commissioning, and operations experience.
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and challenging environment.
  • Experience working in a multi-discipline environment and a clear understanding of roles of interfacing disciplines.
  • Good understanding of Australian and International Design Codes and Engineering Standards; and Statutory Regulations and Approvals.
  • Knowledge of WA Mines Legislation.
  • Previous experience with developing and using mass and heat balance software. Intermediate skills using the Microsoft Office suite.
