The School of Science at UNSW Canberra is seeking a highly skilled Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor in Stratospheric Physics to join our dynamic team. As a key player, you will contribute to course and curriculum delivery, cultivate a vibrant research portfolio, and drive grant applications. Your expertise in Atmospheric physics, electronics, and stratospheric ballooning will be invaluable in advancing our research and teaching.
What We're Looking For
- A PhD in a related discipline, and/or relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated aptitude in the field of Atmospheric physics, electronics, stratospheric ballooning.
- Proven commitment to proactively keeping up to date with discipline knowledge and developments.
- Capability to contribute to and build on the School's research and teaching.
- Ability to manage large scale projects including contract negotiations, tender evaluations, risk and budget plans.

Eligibility
The successful candidate will be required to undertake pre-employment checks prior to commencement in this role. The checks that will be undertaken are listed in the Position Description. You will not be required to provide any further documentation or information regarding the checks until directly requested by UNSW.
The successful candidate will be required to work from the UNSW Canberra campus. To be successful, you will hold Australian Working Rights or Australian Citizenship. UNSW is unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
