About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office and P&C Assistant to join our team at We Are Social. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a welcoming and productive workspace, ensuring that our office runs smoothly and efficiently.

As the Office and P&C Assistant, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including office management, people and culture initiatives, and administrative support. You will work closely with our P&C Manager and other teams to deliver company events, new starter onboarding, learning and development initiatives, and culture-related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Office Management:
    • Contribute to maintaining a positive and welcoming environment in the office
    • Plan and manage office events, meetings, and activities
    • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure seamless delivery of services
    • Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities
  • People & Culture:
    • Support the P&C Manager in delivering people and culture initiatives
    • Coordinate with the People & Culture Manager to maintain and manage learning and development initiatives
    • Assist with recruitment and selection process for new hires
    • Manage new hire onboarding process
  • Administrative Support:
    • Provide administrative support to the P&C Manager and other teams
    • Coordinate travel and bookings for the CEO and other team members
    • Manage office budget and track expenses

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of office or corporate experience
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proactive and detail-oriented with a 'can-do' attitude
  • Full Australian working rights

The salary package offered is between $60,000 and $70,000 AUD.
