Lead Taxation Professional Role

This is a challenging and rewarding career opportunity for an ambitious professional to take on a leadership position and deliver a broad range of taxation solutions.

The successful candidate will be a tertiary-qualified and CA or CPA qualified accountant with a strong background in Corporate Tax, providing Australian taxation services across a broad and technically complex client base.

  • Oversee the preparation and implementation of strategic tax advice, business plans and recommendations tailored to client requirements.
  • Provide taxation consultancy advice, report writing and conducting research to address client requirements.
  • Conduct in-depth reviews of complex tax returns (companies, trusts, partnerships, individuals, FBT, BAS) and transfer pricing documentation.
  • Build, manage and maintain client relationships to ensure a great customer experience and high level of satisfaction.
  • Advocate for the firm and drive business development through networking, thought leadership, and the identification of cross-divisional client opportunities.
  • Review tax compliance, transfer pricing and advisory work prepared by junior staff and provide constructive feedback, as well as provide coaching and mentorship.

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and experience in areas including income tax, capital gains tax, FBT, GST, Division 7A and transfer pricing. They will also demonstrate confidence in leading teams and have proven experience in providing guidance to junior staff.
