About The Role:
  • Contract Management: Review, draft and negotiate contracts, leases and service agreements to mitigate commercial risks.
  • Legal Advisory: Offer strategic legal guidance to senior management and internal teams on operations, contracts and projects.
  • Risk Assessment & Compliance: Identify and assess legal and commercial risk in contracts and operational decisions. Implement quality standards and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Litigation Management: Oversee litigation and outside counsel relationships. Resolve legal disputes and professional liability claims efficiently.
  • Insurance & Risk Management: Lead insurance coverage acquisition and claim reporting. Develop procedures to prevent and resolve professional liability issues.
  • Cross-functional Communication: Translate complex legal concepts into clear guidance for non-legal stakeholders. Support policy development and communicate strategic objectives effectively.

This position requires exceptional drafting and negotiation skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities under pressure. A Juris Doctorate (JD) is essential, along with 10+ years of relevant legal experience in Professional Services. Ideal candidates possess strong leadership, interpersonal and coaching skills, familiarity with litigation, claims management and insurance coordination, and a JD degree from an accredited institution.

A key responsibility will be to identify and mitigate potential legal risks, providing strategic advice to drive business growth while maintaining regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team, demonstrating adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
