About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of our data centers and ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: You will be responsible for managing multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Construction Oversight: You will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, including site visits, inspections, and ensuring that all construction activities are carried out in accordance with our quality and safety standards.
  • Vendor and Contractor Management: You will be responsible for managing our vendors and contractors, ensuring that they are performing to the required standards and that any issues are resolved promptly.
  • Quality Assurance: You will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities are carried out in accordance with our quality and safety standards, and that any defects or issues are identified and resolved promptly.
  • Communication: You will be responsible for communicating with our stakeholders, including our internal teams, vendors, and contractors, to ensure that everyone is informed and aligned with the project's progress and any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • 5+ Years of Experience: You will have at least 5 years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Program Management: You will have experience in program management, with a strong understanding of construction processes and procedures.
  • Construction Knowledge: You will have a strong understanding of construction processes and procedures, including reading and interpreting construction-related drawings for all disciplines.
  • Leadership Skills: You will have strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire your team to deliver high-quality results.
  • Communication Skills: You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with our stakeholders, including our internal teams, vendors, and contractors.
