We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager (Digital Services & Platforms) to lead the growth of our client relationships in the Australia/New Zealand market. This role involves generating new customers for our best-in-class software, platforms, services, and solutions through proactive government agency outreach and sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate new business opportunities within the Australia and New Zealand market through a combination of outbound calling and emailing.
- Follow up on marketing campaigns and inbound inquiries, and opportunities generated by attending company events and webinars.
- Manage a robust sales pipeline from prospecting to close and communicate any challenges or wins to the team.
- Gain an understanding of the prospective customer's pain points and educate on Granicus' value.
- Highlight our differentiators, effectively demoing the product over video conference, and guiding them through the sales process.
- Confidently run product demos for decision-makers of companies varying across all levels of Government.
- Work closely with team members to achieve sales goals and work collaboratively with our Product Team and Customer Success Team to support and set expectations for customers.
- Travel within your territory to visit prospects and attend industry events as required.
