Position OverviewThe Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) Specialist plays a critical role in delivering culturally appropriate, holistic, trauma-informed, and responsive services to support families affected by domestic and family violence. The primary focus of the role is to strengthen safe engagement practices and enhance service delivery strategies in relation to DFV, working collaboratively with the Intensive Family Support (IFS) Service team.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver culturally appropriate, holistic, trauma-informed, and responsive services to support families affected by domestic and family violence;
- Strengthen safe engagement practices and enhance service delivery strategies in relation to DFV, working collaboratively with the IFS Service team;
- Contribute to the development and implementation of programs and services that address the needs of families experiencing DFV;
- Proven experience in working with families affected by domestic and family violence;
- Strong understanding of cultural safety and trauma-informed practice principles;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
