Project Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage projects addressing domestic and family violence and related reforms. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of these issues.

  • Demonstrated understanding of domestic and family violence and related reforms is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of challenges and opportunities for remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities is required.
  • Able to communicate effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and have knowledge of both cultures and societies from a historical and contemporary perspective.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, coordinate, and implement projects to deliver improved outcomes for Queenslanders.
  • Provide expert advice on issues related to domestic and family violence and contribute to the region's response to government initiatives.
  • Work closely with community organisations and communities to raise awareness of domestic and family violence and develop referral pathways.
  • Identify and develop culturally appropriate solutions to enhance service provision in local communities.

You will collaborate with service providers to ensure services meet local needs and are delivered in a culturally sensitive manner.
