State of Colorado Regional Director of District Supports

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Director of District Supports to join our team at the State of Colorado. As a key member of our Field Services team, you will play a critical role in driving the progress and implementation of our team's priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and direct the Field Services team to achieve strategic objectives.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with district leaders and stakeholders across the state.
  3. Collaborate with the field to identify and address district needs, and provide support to ensure effective implementation of CDE initiatives.
  4. Facilitate connections between rural districts and CDE's Office of Special Education.
  5. Support the development and implementation of the Statewide System of Support.
  6. Lead special projects as needed, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education: Master's Degree or equivalent experience.

Experience: Minimum of 10 years in public schools in a district level role.

Preferred: Minimum 3 years as a district administrator in a rural setting.

Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills; ability to collaborate effectively in diverse contexts; extensive knowledge in district operations and leadership development.

Conditions of Employment:
