Purpose of the Role:

The Traffic and Transport Supervisor position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily traffic and transport activities on a construction site, ensuring safe and efficient movement of vehicles, materials, and personnel.

  • Relevant certification or diploma in Traffic Management, Logistics, or a related field is desirable.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee day-to-day traffic and transport activities within the project's construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with construction crews, transportation providers, and project teams to coordinate vehicle and material logistics.
  • Ensure that traffic and transport activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Facilitate effective communication between project teams, transportation authorities, and stakeholders regarding traffic management plans and updates.
  • Address traffic and transport-related challenges promptly to minimize disruptions and enhance efficiency.
  • Provide support in decision-making processes to optimize traffic flow and transport logistics.
  • Effectively use traffic management software and tools to monitor and improve traffic and transport operations.
