Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise civil subcontractors and UGL operators to ensure compliance with safety protocols and project specifications.
  • Coordinate the delivery of imported fill materials, ensuring they meet Powerlink specifications.
  • Oversee the coordination of plant and crews along the easement, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
  • Ensure adherence to Powerlink technical specifications, particularly key hold points, and witness works as required.
  • Facilitate daily toolbox meetings and pre-start meetings to foster a close and productive team environment.
  • Allocate daily tasks to leading hands and direct reports, monitoring productivity, efficiency, and work standards.
  • Maintain daily diaries, tracking resources, productivity, and attendance, ensuring accurate timesheet recording.
  • Drive leading hands, labour, and subcontractors to achieve project targets, understanding project schedule requirements.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in a team lead/supervisory role within the construction industry.
  • Strong planning and coordination skills, with a proven record of driving continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated organisational capabilities, with excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook, with knowledge of LEAN principles.
  • Experience with Primavera, MS Project, SAP, and civil foundations for transmission lines, and relevant Civil Engineering qualifications are highly desirable.
