What are we looking for? Our Research Supervisors are a core part of our remote workforce and assist us in delivering our partner programs in Psychology. They are passionate about research, teaching and learning and can bring the content to life by drawing on their research experience. We want people we can count on. You will be motivated, dependable, and proactive. You will be able to work remotely. We want people who are familiar with facilitating online educational and conducting independent research. Additionally, we want individuals who can develop a strong relationship with academics, support staff, and students. You will have a remote working environment that allows you to deliver a high-quality research supervision experience.

**We are currently seeking research supervisors with expertise in their respective fields to design and implement research projects online while supervising fourth year psychology students.**

**Skills and Experiences**
- Completed a Ph.D. in an area relevant to Psychology (required)
- Be research active, as evidenced by publications in an area relevant to Psychology
- Have the ability to design and implement online psychology research which can be feasibly conducted within the context of a fourth year research project
- High student engagement from a supervision perspective, an ability to support students through all stages of a research project (including research design, data collection, data analysis and academic writing).
- A commitment to maintaining currency in field/s of technical expertise, through continuing scholarship or advances in practice.
- A strong commitment to delivering high-quality contemporary learning activities via online technologies to enhance the student experience and learning.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interact with a diverse range of students and stakeholders.
- A commitment to continuous professional development in online teaching and assessment practice.
- 1+ years' experience in an online teaching role, ideally in higher education.
- Experience working with geographically dispersed teams and stakeholders.
- The ability to work flexible hours during the academic year including days and evenings.

**A typical week in this role**
- Interact with students through the learning management system, responding to their queries and concerns within 24 hours.
- Delivering group and individual supervision meetings.
- Conducting a research project (including research design, data collection, data analysis and academic writing)
- Marking Assessments and/or Theses.
- Attend a meeting with the teaching team.

**3 research supervision options**

When deciding if research supervision is right for you, there are 3 options for providing paid supervision through Boundless Learning:

- Design and implement a new (online) research project involving data collection (recruitment funds are available to you).
- Utilise a pre-existing dataset that you or others have collected prior to commencing supervision (ethical approval required) for students to analyse.
- Provide primary supervision to students for an existing project for collaboration with a university academic (i.e., no project design required for this option).
