Corporate Finance Analyst Role

This is a pivotal position that involves comprehensive analysis and forecasting of people-related costs, including actuals, budgets, and forecasts. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely reports, as well as managing payroll system rules from a financial perspective.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to develop relationships with stakeholders across the business. They will also possess advanced Excel knowledge and be tertiary-qualified in finance with membership in a professional accounting body.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare quarterly people cost forecasts, including data preparation and presentation to senior management.
  • Develop corporate allocation and head office recharge forecasts.
  • Conduct ad-hoc people cost and recharge analyses as required.
  • Maintain salary splits models.
  • Loading monthly actual payroll data and preparing related journals.
  • Preparation of payroll-related monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary-qualified finance professional with CA or CPA membership.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Stakeholder management experience with ability to develop relationships across the business.
