We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Front of House Receptionist. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys interacting with patients and providing exceptional customer service.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting and checking in patients, answering incoming calls, managing patient data and medical records, coordinating with medical and administrative staff, maintaining the reception area, and assisting with general office administration tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting and Check-in: Provide a positive and professional first impression by greeting and checking in patients in a timely and efficient manner.
- Customer Service: Answer incoming calls, address inquiries from patients and their families, and provide exceptional customer service at all times.
- Patient Data Management: Manage patient data and medical records with accuracy and confidentiality, ensuring that all necessary information is up-to-date and secure.
- Coordination and Communication: Coordinate with medical and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient flow and effective communication throughout the hospital.
- Reception Area Maintenance: Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and welcoming to patients and visitors.
- Administrative Support: Assist with general office administration tasks as required, including data entry, filing, and other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role, ideally in a medical or healthcare setting.
- Exceptional Customer Service: Demonstrated commitment and provision of exceptional customer service, with a strong focus on meeting and exceeding patient expectations.
- Communication and Organizational Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and staff, as well as excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with office software and booking system, as well as experience with electronic inpatient management systems such as WebPAS and EMR.
