Regional Learning Strategist

The organization's learning and development function drives the creation and execution of modern learning strategies, frameworks, policies, and programs to enhance operational capability.
The team delivers training across the region and supports statewide learning initiatives. The Regional Learning Strategist collaborates with stakeholders to shape the regional learning strategy, ensuring employees are skilled to manage emergencies per Victoria's Emergency Management Arrangements.
The role is responsible for managing and leading a team of coordinators and administrators to implement the regional learning plan, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards to maintain certification.
The position drives the organization's Regional and state-wide L&D strategy, overseeing training plans, systems, and team alignment with key initiatives. It provides expert advice, identifies improvement opportunities, and supports contemporary learning models. Key duties include building partnerships, standardizing service delivery, preparing reports, and driving continuous improvement and transformation. Operational response duties are performed as needed.
