About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team at MediRecruit Australia Pty. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating children with varying needs, including those with Sensory Processing Disorders, ADHD, ASD, learning difficulties, motor coordination challenges, and other developmental, learning, and behavioural difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for children aged 2-18 years
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to children with diverse needs
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Develop and maintain a caseload of children with complex needs
  • Participate in regular case conferences and team meetings to discuss client progress and share best practices
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A recognised degree in Speech Pathology
  • Certified Practicing Speech Pathology status (CPSP) with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and Sensory Processing Disorders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Current working with children check and First Aid Certification
