About the Role: We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of businesses, family groups, and not-for-profits, providing accounting, tax compliance, and advisory services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of clients and provide accounting, tax compliance, and advisory services
- Oversight of client work from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, meeting deadlines, and identifying growth opportunities
- Mentor junior staff, contribute to new client acquisitions, and drive continuous improvement within the team
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in business services or tax within a professional accounting firm
- A degree in Accounting, with a CA or CPA qualification in progress or completed
- Strong technical expertise in Australian tax legislation, compliance, and reporting
- Familiarity with corporate governance and ATO compliance matters
