Health Data Lead
Position OverviewThe purpose of this position is to provide insights about the health of men internationally, supporting the implementation of the One Movember Impact Strategy and the focus areas of the Movember Institute.
Key Responsibilities- Source, analyze, and interpret population health data to meet business needs.
- Develop and align the men's population health evidence base at Movember with the One Movember Impact Strategy & Movember Institute focus areas.
- Advise on, conduct, interpret, and report on a wide range of statistical analyses.
- A Master's or PhD qualification in a relevant field (Epidemiology, Public Health, Psychology, Statistics).
- Proficiency using relevant software (i.e., Stata, R) to undertake complex analyses to a high level.
- Experience in public health surveillance across one or more of Movember's core markets (Australia, UK, US, Canada, New Zealand, Ireland).
- Demonstrated skills in anticipating and solving problems.
- Experience in working with various stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate research and/or data findings to different audiences using multiple mediums and channels.
- Experience in oncology/cancer, mental health, and/or men's health research would be highly regarded.
- Experience in qualitative and quantitative mixed methods research and analysis.
- Affiliation with a university.
- Journal publications and/or experience presenting at conferences.
- Experience working in a global context.
