Our team seeks an Information Security Specialist to play a pivotal role in safeguarding our digital assets.

About the Role:

  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive security audit records for thorough auditing processes.
  • Lead investigations into local security incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Configure local security systems to detect and block potential threats, guaranteeing seamless operation.
  • Perform vulnerability management according to established requirements.
  • Provide expert advice on requests for change from a security perspective.
  • Collaborate in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures for local systems to ensure they comply with stringent security policies.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Australian citizenship is mandatory for attaining Baseline Clearance.
  • A minimum of three years' industry experience in information security functions.
  • Strong technical knowledge of current IT security systems, practices, and standards.
  • Experience with SIEM, vulnerability management tools, intrusion detection, and other security systems.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills are essential.
  • Familiarity with information security and cybersecurity standards, frameworks, and codes of practice such as ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27002, NIST Cyber Security Framework, etc.

Certifications:

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or CISM - Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) will be highly regarded.
