The role: We seek a seasoned Partner to lead our Australian practice.
If you thrive in a dynamic, remote-first setting and want to work with a global network of tech-savvy colleagues, this is your opportunity.
You will: Help lead our Australian practice, collaborating with US and EMEA teams.
Drive business development through your network and engagement in the startup community.
Provide innovative solutions to client challenges, fostering growth in technology law.
Deliver high-quality legal work that differentiates us.
Manage key client relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
Support tech innovators in achieving their goals.
Engage in complex problem-solving to produce meaningful results.
Build internal and external relationships.
Offer pragmatic, actionable legal advice within our diverse global team.
You will bring:10+ years PQE as a qualified lawyer.
Deep expertise in areas like Corporate Commercial, Cyber & Data Privacy, IP, or Financing, with a generalist approach.
Preferred qualifications include dual jurisdiction, experience in top-tier or boutique firms, and in-house roles, plus a strong professional network.
Critical thinking, curiosity, and resourcefulness.
Ability to understand and incorporate emerging technologies like AI into legal practice.
Excellent communication skills, especially with startup founders and C-suite executives.
Creative problem-solving skills with pragmatic solutions.
Self-motivation, independence, and ownership of results.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
A pioneering spirit to help establish our presence in the market.
