Psychologist and Clinical Psychologist Casual/Short-Term Staff Pool Position

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Psychologist and Clinical Psychologist to join our Casual/Short-Term Staff Pool. As a member of our team, you will provide patient-focused psychology services in various clinical settings, including assessment, formulation, intervention, and evaluation.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the provision of flexible and consistent psychology services in the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessment, formulation, intervention, and evaluation services to patients
- Work effectively in teams, including multidisciplinary teams
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based treatments in psychology
Requirements:
- Completion of appropriate tertiary psychology qualifications, depending on classification of employment (psychologist or clinical psychologist)
- Full registration as a Psychologist and/or Clinical Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology endorsement (or working towards endorsement) with the Psychology Board of Australia
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams, including multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in the provision of evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention for psychological disorders
