As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing equipment. Your key focus areas include:

  • Maintaining equipment condition to meet company safety, production, and quality targets
  • Providing technical support to the Maintenance and Production teams
  • Performing preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime, including routine planned shutdowns
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and codes
  • Assisting with breakdowns and conducting troubleshooting analysis as required
  • Utilizing excellent PLC knowledge and understanding to troubleshoot equipment efficiently
  • Demonstrating thorough knowledge and experience with powered drives, automatic guided vehicles (AGVs), and robotics
  • Reading and understanding electrical schematics and drawings
  • Having experience working with Converting-type production lines in a FMCG environment (highly regarded)
  • Showing solid knowledge and experience with industrial instrumentation and control systems

For this role, we require:

  • An Electrical A grade Licence (essential)
  • Experience working as an electrician in a FMCG manufacturing/industrial environment
  • Knowledge and experience in safe working practices and isolation processes
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Reliable and self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations with a can-do attitude
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office programs and databases
