Trading Applications Support Specialist

Anton Murray Consulting is seeking a skilled Trading Applications Support Analyst to join our client's Sydney office. As a key member of the global production support team, you will be responsible for day-to-day production regional support for Capital Markets Brokerage Trading Applications.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical and functional desk support across multiple technologies used by Brokerage Capital Market applications.
- Liaise with upstream and downstream application teams, as well as business and operations partners and clients.
- Collaborate with other technology teams, including Development, Vendors, Infrastructure, and software support teams.
- Work closely with traders to resolve production incidents and troubleshoot root causes.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of functional expertise in brokerage or OMS trading support functions.
- Experience working in an Onsite/Offshore model, particularly supporting APAC, UK, and US business lines.
- Incident management experience, including understanding of ticket workflows and escalation processes.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow/ITIL Methodologies.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to speak confidently with traders.
- Highly flexible and adaptable, with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a stressful environment and resolve problems in an analytical and logical manner.
A competitive hourly rate, based on prior Trading Applications Support Analyst experience, and the opportunity to work as an on-site contractor with our client.
