Torrens to Darlington Project Overview

The consortium of leading contractors has been selected to deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, forming a continuous 78 km, non-stop, traffic light-free motorway.

The project involves constructing two separate tunnels – the Southern Tunnels and the Northern Tunnels connected by an open motorway, with a combined total distance of 10.5km.

Job Description

  • Lead day-to-day operations of surface and mobile plant across multiple civil work fronts.
  • Provide expert technical input into mobile plant capabilities, performance, and optimisation.
  • Liaise with construction managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth integration of plant resources.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Plant Manager or Senior Plant Operations role within major civil or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong technical understanding of mobile plant operations, maintenance, and performance optimisation.
  • Solid knowledge of bulk earthworks, drainage, roads, and structural civil works.
