Job Overview

The Torrens to Darlington Alliance is seeking an experienced Plant Operations Manager to oversee the daily activities of surface and mobile plant across multiple civil work fronts.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical guidance on mobile plant capabilities, performance, and optimization.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of plant members throughout the project.
  • Develop and implement strategies for plant allocation to meet project requirements.
  • Monitor utilization, productivity, and maintenance schedules to ensure efficiency and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Candidates should have proven experience in a Plant Manager or Senior Plant Operations role within major civil or infrastructure projects.

About You
  • Proven experience in a Plant Manager or Senior Plant Operations role within major civil or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of mobile plant operations, maintenance, and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with bulk earthworks, drainage, roads, and structural civil works.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to build capability and foster collaboration.
  • High-level planning, scheduling, and problem-solving skills.
