Job Description

As a Management and Regulatory Accounting Lead, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring a dedicated team to provide value and insights to the business. You will bring your financial and leadership expertise in developing budgets, forecasts, and financial performance reports to make an impact.

The role involves effective delivery and performance reporting against multiyear budgets and annual forecasts, as well as providing strategic and tactical advice and reports to the Executive team, Board of Directors, managers, and responsible officers.

You will also manage and support a team of Management Accountants, ensuring the effective delivery of reliable, timely information to enable the organisation to make evidence-based decisions and optimise financial performance.

The Management and Regulatory Accounting Lead is a key member of the Finance leadership team and the role is critical to delivering and driving collaboration, autonomy, and accountability within the team and across the broader business.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree qualified (mandatory) with CPA or CA qualification preferred
  • Minimum five years management accounting experience
  • Demonstrated internal stakeholder management skills and ability to negotiate
  • Highly developed leadership, interpersonal, and collaborative skills and ability to work with all levels of an organisation
  • Strong financial reporting, analytical, and modelling skills and highly proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Accounting software
  • Demonstrated critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
  • A passion for innovation and commitment to continuous improvement
