About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Porter to join our team at Sofitel. As a Porter, you will be the first and last point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and farewell guests in a genuine and personalized manner, attending to their needs throughout their stay.
  • Assist with luggage handling, delivering to rooms, and storing as required.
  • Arrange transportation and tours for guests, providing accurate directions and sharing knowledge of the local area.
  • Control parking of cars in the car park, assisting with valet parking as needed.
  • Ensure daily checklists are completed and handovers are thorough.
  • Stay up-to-date with hotel services, promotions, outlet opening times, and local events.
  • Provide fast, effective, and friendly service to internal and external guests at all times.

Requirements

  • A valid driver's license with ability to drive automatic and manual vehicles.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts across a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Knowledge of Noosa and surrounding areas.
