Technical Solutions Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Technical Solutions Specialist to join our team in Adelaide, Australia.

About the Opportunity
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical designs and solutions throughout the sales cycle to ensure our partners and customers understand the full value of our video and audio solutions.
  • As a key member of the sales team, you will contribute to the growth of the business by working closely with the Sales team and positioning us as the market leader.
  • The role will also involve building awareness and educating our network and wider community about our products and solutions through presenting in webinars, industry networks, training, etc.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide internal and external assistance during the sales process, including delivering solutions and demonstrations to customers.
  • Develop technical written pre-sales material.
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities when communicating with Partners.
  • Work with integrators and technology Partners during the project sales process.
  • Collaborate across multiple departments (internally & externally) to ensure we get the best outcomes for our partners.
  • Construct and deliver technology and/or customer-specific training.
  • Provide technical updates to our partners.
  • Attend and represent us at industry trade shows and events.
Qualification and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or similar.
  • Ideal experience in a customer-facing pre-sales role in the field of network video and/or physical security markets.
  • Good knowledge of networking, IP-based technologies and applications is desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to build and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Self-motivated and team player.
  • Good organisational skills, and able to manage multiple priorities and time for customer needs.
