Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a talented Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Engineering Cohort, you will be responsible for carrying out end-to-end process design activities for complex water projects.

About the Role:

  • You will work closely with senior engineers and other team members on various projects, contributing to the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions to real-world water projects.
  • This position offers a hands-on learning environment where you will apply theoretical knowledge acquired in your academic studies to support the development of solutions in line with Engineers Australia Competency Framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Engineering Manager to deliver projects in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
  • Ensure that work is completed in accordance with project specification requirements.
  • Carry out design activities for projects as required.
  • Complete project-related activities within time schedules.
  • Assist the Project Manager in the preparation of project documentation.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with staff, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Requirements:

  • Undertaking a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree.
  • Organised, decisive, proactive, and determined in setting and achieving targets.
  • Able to build strong and collaborative relationships.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office including SharePoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
