In this role, you will be part of our Energy Services division, responsible for sourcing electricity and gas supply contracts for clients in Australia and New Zealand.


Job Description:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive RFP strategies to procure optimal energy contracts for clients;
  • Analyse complex financial data and present findings to clients and internal stakeholders;
  • Collaborate with Client Managers to deliver exceptional client service and support;
  • Negotiate with energy retailers and renewable generation developers to secure best-in-class contract terms and prices;
  • Become an expert in energy market knowledge and build relationships with key industry players;
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations;
  • Support team members in developing and delivering high-quality reports and presentations;
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners;
  • Prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:


  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Energy or Economics;
  • Advanced MS-Excel skills and ability to work with large data sets;
  • Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills, with a sharp eye for detail;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and stakeholder management;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects;
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with experience working with clients and internal stakeholders;
  • Knowledge of energy markets and procurement processes, preferably in the energy retail or advisory sectors.
