About the Position

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver high-quality teaching programs that reflect best practices in medical education, contributing to the growth and success of students and the organization.
  • Promote the School and establish partnerships with industry, professional communities, and other stakeholders to enhance academic collaboration and excellence.
  • Maintain active engagement in scholarly activities, such as research and publishing, to advance knowledge and expertise in medical education.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement curricula, learning resources, and assessment strategies that meet the evolving needs of students and the profession.
  • Coordinate clinical placement programs to ensure students gain practical experience and develop essential skills for future careers.

Requirements

  • PhD in a relevant field and/or other relevant qualifications in health professions discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach effectively in undergraduate or postgraduate programs, inspiring students to learn and achieve their full potential.
  • Strong passion for teaching, learning, and scholarship, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Experience in developing educational resources, assessing student performance, and providing constructive feedback to foster independent learning.
  • Ability to utilise various teaching methods, technologies, and resources to cater for diverse learners and promote inclusive education.
  • Capacity to be an effective member of a research team, conduct scholarly activities, and prepare high-quality written work for publication.
  • Expertise in delivering effective teaching practices to improve student success, engagement, and overall academic experience.
