Job Description:

This role involves teaching within the Doctor of Medicine program, contributing to curriculum development, and promoting the School of Medicine. The appointee will establish links with academic, industry, and professional communities, make independent contributions to teaching, research, and service activities, and work collaboratively with unit teaching teams.

  • Develop and deliver effective unit curricula and learning resources
  • Coordinate clinical placement programs and foster partnerships with the academic, industry, and professional communities
  • Contribute to pedagogical research activity, publication in learning and teaching, and testing innovations designed to improve student outcomes
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess a PhD in a relevant discipline, or other relevant qualifications, and demonstrated ability to contribute effectively to UG or PG teaching programs in medical education. They should have experience in teaching clinical reasoning, clinical practice, and clinical communication skills, as well as a passion for teaching and learning.
