Job Title: Advanced Cancer Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Advanced Cancer Care Specialist to deliver evidence-based comprehensive oncology nursing care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with NSW Health Legislation and ACQSHC National Standards.
  • Provide holistic nursing assessments, referrals, and interventions for optimal patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to quality improvements and collaborate with the Quality and Clinical Governance team to ensure best practices.
  • Administer medications and conduct nursing observations in line with policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve exceptional patient care.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Current and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Prior experience in oncology is preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy for patients and their caregivers.
  • Strong clinical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective care planning and coordination skills.
  • Dedication to quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
