About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing person-centred support to individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver daily living support, promoting choice, independence, and overall wellbeing for the people we support.
  • Engage in various activities such as walking, cycling, arts and crafts, baking, cooking, social outings, and community activities.
  • Maintain relationship-based support, ensuring engagement in community activities and outings.
  • Apply Positive Behaviour Support methods where appropriate and participate in specialist training and professional development.
  • Demonstrate reliability, flexibility, and motivation while supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Experience working with adults with learning disabilities and complex needs is essential.
  • SVQ Level 3 in Social Care or relevant experience in social care is preferred.
  • A manual UK driving licence is required.
